SwiftCard raises $250,000 in private angel funding

SwiftCard has raised $250,000 from private angel investors.

That's the news. Here's what it means if you use the app, or you're thinking about it.

First, what "private angel funding" means

It means individual people put their own money into SwiftCard. It didn't come from a venture fund. These are people who looked at what we're building and decided to back it directly.

We're grateful for that, and we take it seriously. Someone chose to bet on a small company, and we want to earn it back.

Why we built SwiftCard in the first place

You hand someone your card at an open house, a job site, a conference booth. They say they'll call you. Then nothing happens. Nobody remembers who said what, and the lead goes cold.

SwiftCard is built to fix that gap. Someone scans your QR code, taps your NFC tag or opens your link. They don't need an app. They can send their details back, and those land in a built-in CRM. Your phone buzzes when someone views your card. You can set up follow-up emails and texts that go out for you, and they respect STOP.

That's the product today. It works, people use it, and this round doesn't change how it works for you.

What the $250,000 changes

It gives us room to keep building without cutting corners. We can spend more time on the things you tell us are annoying, and less time worrying about the next few months.

I'd rather not tell you a big plan with numbers I can't back up, so here is what I can say plainly: the money is going into building SwiftCard, and we'll write about what we ship as we ship it. If you want a say in what comes next, tell us. We read everything.

What stays the same

The free plan is a real plan, and nothing about it changes with this announcement. You can create a card, share it and see who's looking, all without paying. If you want more, look at Pro on the pricing page. If you don't, you lose nothing.

What you can do right now

If you haven't made a card yet, it takes a few minutes. Set up a free card, put the QR code on your phone's lock screen or your sign, and see who opens it this week. You can also see how view tracking works before you commit to anything.

If you already have one, thank you. You're a big part of why anyone would put money into this.

Where can I follow what you build next?
