Blinq vs. SwiftCard vs. HiHello: Which Digital Business Card Is Actually Worth It?

If you're comparing digital business cards, here's the short version: Blinq, HiHello, and SwiftCard all let you share your contact info by QR code, NFC tag, or link, with no app required on the other end. Where they split is what happens after the tap. SwiftCard puts a CRM, automated follow-up, and view tracking on its free plan. Blinq puts most of that behind its $6.99+/user Business tier. HiHello puts it behind Business too, and caps how many people can even scan your card on its free and Professional plans. Below is what each one actually includes, verified against their current pricing pages.

What each one is for

All three replace the paper business card with a digital one you can share by QR code, NFC card or tag, or a link — the person receiving it doesn't need to install anything. Past that starting point, they're built for different jobs. Blinq and HiHello are built primarily to hand out a card and collect contacts. SwiftCard is built around the tap being the start of a conversation: who saved your card, what they left behind, and whether anyone followed up.

Where Blinq is genuinely strong

Blinq's AI notetaker is a real feature we don't have an equivalent to: it can sit in on a call or meeting and hand you a transcript and summary alongside the contact you just exchanged. Its Business plan also connects natively to more than 20 CRM platforms, which matters if your team is already living in Salesforce or HubSpot and you want contacts to land there directly instead of in a standalone tool. If you want more detail on how Blinq stacks up as your main card, including where teams tend to outgrow the free plan, we've written that up separately.

Where HiHello is genuinely strong

HiHello's Professional plan is the cheapest single-user paid tier of the three at $6/month, and its Enterprise tier leans hard into IT requirements — SAML/SCIM directory sync and SOC 2 compliance — that make it an easier sell to a security team than a smaller vendor. If your primary blocker to adoption is procurement and single sign-on, that's a legitimate reason to look at HiHello first.

Where SwiftCard is different

The difference isn't the card — it's what's attached to it. Every SwiftCard plan, including free, includes a built-in CRM that captures the contact info a visitor shares back with you, plus automated email and text follow-up sequences that are opt-in and STOP-compliant, so you're not manually emailing everyone you meet at an event. View tracking shows you who looked at your card, where the view came from, whether it was the card or one of your links, and if someone came back for a second look — with viewer location added on Pro. Swift Links extends the same tracking to a link-in-bio page with themes and video tiles, and Swift Signature turns the same card into an email signature. On Pro, an AI tool can draft your follow-up message and another can copy the design of a card you send it a photo of. What we don't have: an Android app, and no phone-to-phone NFC — sharing by NFC on SwiftCard means tapping a physical NFC card or tag, not two phones against each other.

Which one should you pick

If your team already runs on a specific CRM and wants native two-way sync, or you need an AI notetaker for calls, Blinq's Business or Premium plan is worth the price. If your organization's IT team needs SSO and SOC 2 before anyone can install anything, HiHello Enterprise is built for that conversation. If you're a solo operator, freelancer, or small team who wants to know who looked at your card and have a follow-up go out automatically without paying for a Business tier to get it, that's what SwiftCard's free and Pro plans are built for. FAQ

Does the person I share my card with need to download an app?

No, for all three. Blinq, HiHello, and SwiftCard all support sharing by QR code or link that opens in a browser, so the recipient doesn't need the app installed.

Which one has a real free plan?

All three have a free tier, but they differ in what's included. Blinq's free plan gives you two cards with no CRM or AI features. HiHello's free plan caps you at 4 cards and 5 card scans a month. SwiftCard's free plan includes the CRM, automated follow-up, and view tracking without a scan cap.

Can I use any of these with NFC?

Yes. All three support NFC sharing via a physical card or tag — none of them do phone-to-phone NFC, where you tap two phones together directly.

Do any of these offer an Android app?

Blinq and HiHello have Android apps. SwiftCard is currently iOS app plus web only, with no Android app.

Which is cheapest for a small team?

For a 2-person team, SwiftCard's Office plan runs $3.99/seat/month (2-seat minimum). Blinq's Business plan is $4.99/user/month annually but has a 5-card minimum. HiHello's Business plan is $5/user/month and requires 5–100 users.
